A celebration of THE ARTS, CULTURE AND COMMUNITY SPIRIT!

Over 10,000 people flocked to Winders Park on the weekend of 18th and 19th October 2014, to watch over 140 performers showcase their talents along Currumbin’s creek scape.

A diverse mix of talent including singer/songwriters, acrobats, drummers, hula dancers and the world’s smallest extreme sport enthusiasts wowed the crowds.   These multi-talented mice were training for their world tour and were stoked to be showcasing their skateboarding and windsurfing tricks to the crowds!

The gifted Dan Hannaford opened festivities on the Saturday and a fire performance by GC’s very own Energy Entertainments closed the day’s events.

Ash Perrow, a founding member of The Lamplights, took centre stage first up on Sunday for an instrumental session showdown.   Pinky, the Imamba dancers and community drummers also set the stage alight with their unforgettable cultural celebration.

An eclectic group of performance artists painted and created their masterpieces, bringing a unique dimension to the inaugural event.  An international menu to please all foodies was also on offer, with well-known local restaurants dishing up with festival flair.
